Santa Claus Parades

Ajax

November 24 6 pm  

Ajax residents and  visitors are invited to come out and welcome Santa when he arrives in  town for “Santa’s Magical Parade of Lights”.

The parade begins at the intersection of Bayly Street and Mackenzie  Avenue, proceeding east along Bayly and then north on Harwood Avenue  South, concluding at Ajax Town Hall. Immediately following the parade  will be a special tree lighting ceremony and after party at Town Hall  (65 Harwood Avenue South) and Ajax Main Library. 

Aurora

November 24 6pm  

Don’t miss the magic  Santa Under the Stars Parade. This annual night time tradition  continues on Saturday, November 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The parade will travel south on Yonge Street from Orchard Heights Boulevard to Murray Drive.

The Salvation Army will be picking up food donations and letters for Santa along the route before the parade begins.

This night time parade is full of magic, with beautifully decorated  floats, incredible marching bands and a few special guest include the  Jolly man-in-red himself.

Barrie

November 17 5pm  

The Barrie Chamber  of Commerce is pleased to have a longstanding partnership with Santa. He  joins us each year for this fun night parade that features fantastic  lights, colours and music.

The 2018 parade is scheduled for 5pm on Saturday, November 17, 2018. This years theme is "Christmas Past, Present and Future". 

We will be traveling the same route again this year, departing from  Tiffin and Lakeshore, heading straight up Tiffin to Bradford Street. We  will then head North on Bradford to Dunlop, then through Downtown  Barrie, where we will be part of the Downtown Barrie Tree Lighting  festivities!

Brampton

November 17 5pm

Lights, music and merriment . . . join in welcoming Santa to Brampton.   Find a spot along Main Street and see twinkling floats, marching bands,  over 200 costumed characters and so much more. 

Etobicoke Lakeshore

December 1st 10am

 Tens of thousands of visitors each year enjoy the Lakeshore Parade. Easy  to get to, easy to park and lots of fun. This parade is not to be  missed. Starting at Dwight St. and Lake Shore Blvd. West in South  Etobicoke at 10am, you can easily park and find a great spot. It heads  westbound to 37th St. So plan your timing. If viewing past Islington the  start time is closer to 10:15 am. Or Kipling 10:30am 

Innisfil

November 25th 1pm

Parade will begin at the beach and move West to Jans Boulevard.  There will be a designated quiet zone starting at the beach until 25th sideroad.

Markham

November 24th 11am

The 46th Markham Santa Claus Parade is Saturday Nov 24th at 11am  starting from south of Highway 7, north on Markham Road to Bur Oak Ave. 

Newmarket

November 17th 11am 

Welcome Santa Claus to Newmarket at our annual Santa Claus parade  beginning at 11 a.m. Bundle up and bring your family and friends to see  the festive holiday floats followed by our special guest - jolly Old St.  Nick.

Please remember to bring your letter to Santa to be picked up by  Canada Post and your non-perishable food item to be collected for the  Newmarket Food Pantry.

North Etobicoke

Toronto

Since 1905, the Toronto Santa  Claus parade has made its way through the streets of downtown Toronto.  Today, The Santa Claus Parade is the longest running children's parade  in the world and one of the overall largest parades in the world.

The 114th Toronto Santa Claus parade takes place on November 18, 2018 at 12:30.

The parade begins at Christie Street and Bloor Street West. See website for full route details!

Vaughan

November 25th, 2pm

The 3 km parade begins at Canada’s Wonderland on Major Mackenzie and  Jane St and travels eastbound along Major Mackenzie and ends at Vaughan  City Hall just east of Keele Street.
